ADParticles is a Spanish technology company that leads the way in innovation in the world of nanotechnology. Founded in 2011 as a spin-off of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). ADParticles is a clear case of successful technology transfer thanks to the strong commitment of the investment fund Beable Capital, specialised in “science equity” from the beginning and even today. The subsequent support of the CDTI, through the INNVIERTE programme to support technological SMEs. As well as the incorporation of a “family officer” specialised in the cosmetics sector together with researchers who developed the patent at the time and industrial investors with a minority stake.

The current CEO of ADParticles, along with the entire team that makes up the company, is committed to consolidating a promising future for the company, whose objective is to continue leading innovation in skin care and the environment, as well as making ADParticles a benchmark for innovation in the sector, thanks to continuous advances in the development of unique, innovative, sustainable and effective products.

At the same time, a major milestone has been reached for the company, the validation of its products according to the FDA, through the Certificate of compliance with "NCF/Certificate of GMP compliance of a manufactures" that aligns ideally with the current stage of ADParticles, a growth phase mainly focused on internationalization in strategic country markets. Objectives that coincide with the growing demand and interest of the industry for more sustainable and healthier mineral filters for the skin.

Currently, the company continues to expand the scope of this technology in the cosmetics sector, with products that are marketed under the name ADPCosmetics. Here, it has managed to develop UV filters with broad spectrum protection, achieving SPF 50+ with very low concentrations. In addition, they are the only sun filters on the market that integrate protection and color in the same molecule, all these advantages in a single ingredient of 100% mineral origin, thus marking a milestone in nanotechnology.
